2005 Viper 90 top end rebuild
#1
Time to put a top end in my kids Viper 90 2 stroke. Compression is around 65 so it's gone for sure.
Do I have to remove the engine to do this or can it be done in place? I ordered the Eton top end rebuild kit part number 810790, hopefully that is all I need.
Any input or advise anyone can offer would be appreciated.
Thanks

Eton shares the same basic engine, gear case and clutches as Polaris youth models,Aeon,Kasea and Dinli 50s and 90s. If you're top end looks like this one you should be able to do it with the engine in the frame.Aluminm cylinder piston kit 54mm for 90cc ATV Eton Dinli Polaris AEON Kasea Cylinder head nut torque is 14 foot pounds.

I'll update my progress as it happens. Hoping to have the parts by the end of the week.
