Default Eton viper mini 50 blows fuse

Hi I have a ATV that's blows the fuse. I found out that when I disconnect the voltage regulator, I Dosent blow the fuse. But when I connect it back, it does. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Faulty voltage regulator, fit a new one. Only other possibility, battery connected backwards.

Sorry for this response being sooo late but the thing is, I connected the regulator from another working Atv and does the same thing. And if the battery is wired backwards how come?

"if the battery is wired backwards how come?" Only you can answer that one. Everything seems to be wired negative earth these days, so check the positive terminal is connected to the wire going to the solenoid.
