I have a 2005 Eton 90r 2 stroke that ran but sat for 5 years due to excessive smoking. I dug it out and started working on it for my son. replaced top end and mice nested in the clutch cover and destroyed the belt and both clutches. now with it all back together i pushed the start button and the rear wheels turned backward with the shift selector in the Neutral position and it has no spark. i pulled the shift cover off and manually put it in neutral and as soon as i turned the key on the shift motor shifted back in to reverse with the shift selector in the Neutral position. i have tried the eton troubleshooting and synchronizing method to no avail.... pretty sure it is the ignition box but before i drop money on one i want to make sure im not missing something. Any help will be greatly appreciated since this WAS going to be my sons birthday gift back in august! thanks in advance
