Question 2001 LT80 Movable Drive Face

I bought a 2001 LT80 for my son but it had clutch issues when I bought it. It appears the last owner may have not assembled the front clutch correctly. When I tore it apart the key on the crank was worn out, the movable drive face plate looks like it wasn't aligned with the key and just "wore out". The movable drive key cutout was gone and the face was rounded out. The fixed drive had also just spun on the crank splines and wore them out. The fixed drive would spin freely without moving the crank I pulled the motor, split the case, replaced the crank. New starter flywheel, new belt, New clutch (fixed drive, movable drive, movable drive face, rollers, o-ring, washer, spring washer) Refreshed the top end with an ebay kit, new carb, new reeds, blocked off the auto oiler, new petcock on fuel tank. Fast forward to the install. Everything is assembled and worked as it should. My son rode it maybe 3 hours total time and then we thought we heard something on the front clutch side. I tore it back apart and noticed that the movable drive face had slight wear and the key on the crank also had wear? What would cause the wear? It is possible that I simply didn't get the nut tightened enough? I did use the new spring washer when I assembled. The front clutch wasn't loose when I took it apart. I cleaned up the rear clutch but didn't replace or maintenance anything, do I need to?I believe the front clutch is still usable and can post pictures if needed.
