KFX 80 rear transmission, was running on the ice and the rear wheel bound up, unable to turn them at all, took the rear transmission appart and nothing is broken or out of place but it won't turn, WTH am I missing here

 

Why is the cover still on. That usually comes off first. That bearing bad? How about the bearings in the gears?
FYI: I have gears if need be.
