I rebuilt an outlaw started up but as soon as I gave it throttle it turned off and wouldn't start just click took the starter apart and it was all broken in pieces from the inside any ideas on what could cause this I ordered a second starter and the same happened
Probably bad luck. Starter motor makers know that the magnets come loose and destroy starters, they used to fit metal shrouds inside of the magnets so they couldn't do this, but have deleted them on newer versions of their products, so now they only last a few years, especially on ATVs, which bounce about over rough terrain. The Outlaw, newer versions anyway, has the most feeble starter system of any ATV I have come across. Starter and earth leads are long and thin, battery too small, and by your pics, they seem to have fitted the cheapest starter motor they could find.
