Default C-dale Frames

Has anyone ever had a problem with a C-dale frame? Do they crack or break?

Well, its probably the Strongest stock ATV frame ever. Sure a few crack or break, but I havent heard of it. It was one of the Cannondale's strongest points.

Every frame in the world can crack or break, but the C-dale frames are VERY strong. Mine had to go through a pretty hellacious wreck that involved, cartwheeling, barrel rolling, and flipping, just to put a small break in the subframe. Nothing else was broken or bent. The C-dale frames are actually stronger than some aftermarket frames.

I have heard of a couple of cracked subframes (due to bad crashes), and a very small number of engine cradles, but no main frame assemblies ever, from what i can remember.

Except for one Jag-off who used to be on here I've never heard of one breaking that wasn't in a wreck.

Thanks for the replys. This will play a part if I buy a C-dale here soon. They are going dirt cheap. A state of the art quad going for under 5200.00 brand new. I hear that the studs on the side of the motor get loose. Will someone explain?

That would be the one Jag-Off I was refering to. The pictures weren't very clear and you couldn't clearly see the break. He also did this during the time when he was on a Cannondale witch hunt because they wouldn't give him the new computer even though he bought the quad USED.
