Should I get a cannondale?

You are guilty of being ignorant.
There is no delusion or fantasy here. Please see the first responses to this threads title. did you miss those before you went off on your rant?
You're trying to justify wimping out when you could have bought a world class american made race quad when you could. Too bad.
what transmission problems?

Dude, I am not bashing you or the product, nor am I ignorant. You apparently dont understand what bashing is and what it isnt.
yes I read your post, it was the first response:
I was just expanding on this. Your comments, your words. Ever heard of that? The posts kept coming in, so I was in the process of responding as well. I did not start anything, just stated my opinion to the TITLE question - "SHOULD I BUY A CANNONDALE?" Facts were brought up along the way and you and others discounted them as BS and then started accusing me of bashing. WHAT? How can it be BS and bashing if its true? You want to then accuse me of ignorance? You are way off base and just like to argue. That's all I have to say about this.
yes I read your post, it was the first response:
...you don't want to buy a cannondale. ... It's too late. The game is up.

NO. The quad division is gone. You will get no help when you tranny or engine explodes. You will get no help with NOTHING. They served their purpose - they woke up the other manufacturers to make more competitive machines and not "bold new graphics" every year. Those days are over. Salute cannondale and move on. Get a YFZ 450 or the Honda 450R coming out in September ( oh yes, its true.. its true).

The DS 650 is a solid good ride! Have you checked into those? Tons of power, tons of torque and very reliable. I looked at the C'dales as well, but knowing that they went under scared me away. Now, having the DS, I couldn't have asked for a better bike.

wistech- I NEVER said anything about them being over priced. If i did, quote me. I will gladly admit I was wrong on that point and take it back. If you want to know the truth, i really thought for what the idea was and what you got - a showroom racer wasnt a bad deal. I almost bought one. You cant deny that they RECALLED their first year quads for steering problems. You cant deny that problems were reported with following years as well. You or your buddies may have never seen the problems, but they were still reported and made alot of people very concerned. Had Cannondale continued, I think they would have worked all the bugs out. Oh, and yes I can name the 5 different models and know the major differences between them.
Just answer the next question yes or no. Did I say anything that was FALSE?
HELL NO.
IF i am wrong any FACT i stated, PROVE ME WRONG. DONT just **** in my direction with some idoitic comeback or "basher" remark. That proves nothing- only that you took offense to what I said.
WAS THERE NOT an auction held in March 2003? ; it was D-DAY for cannondale motorsports. I think that is a FACT. Read your paper, check SEC filings, whatever you want. I dont care.
You have nothing to stand on in your trial of my "ignorance."
In spite of all that was said to take me down, I support Cannondale coming back.
This whole little squabble would have not gone on and on if you would have just let people give their opionions, which is what these forums are all about. I hold nothing against you or the other dude here.
I am sure you are good riders and love the sport. And honestly, if I am ever in your areas I wouldnt mind riding with y'all. We may have different opinions and may not agree on everything 100%, but we do not need ridiculus disagreements amongst us as ATVers. Divided we fall.

Qwerty is another diehard brand loyalist rider. I suppose you'd take a lousy CBR 959 over a GSXR1000 too. It's funny how a little bicycle company made the billion dollar companies take note!!! When my brother gets his new YFZ and we line up on the gate I plan on not losing.
