Not only did they tank the motor division, but the owners didn't have the common sense to kill thier pet project when it was obviously doomed...instead they went ahead and drug down a highly succesfull Bike company


A FOOL AND HIS MONEY ARE SOON PARTED!!!!!!

 

Yes the bike company is succesful but the growth wasnt there.They were making money on the bikes but the sales and profits werent growing.That is one reason they wanted to try a different market.If a company doesnt attempt to grow it is a bad thing.Cannondale started out making backpacks and clothes then moved into bikes.Guaranteed the first year or two they made bicycles they didnt make a profit on them either.

 

I thought they started making trailers or something...and yes they made a great move trying to go big, but they should have cut thier losses
