Default 2003 cannondale or 93 Banshee

Well, my neighbour is looking for a quad. He can choose between a 93 street-legal Banshee, or a 2003 new, street legal Cannondale Speed, for the same money.

He likes the Cannondale because it's new, but is kindof worried because they are discontinued etc., hard to get parts,...(especially in Belgium)
Also heard some about the Cannondales being unreliable? (engine problems etc)

Opinions?

Come to www.cannondaler.com and talk to EuroGod ... he can get you any parts you want on that side of the lake.

With a small investment they can be made very reliable. Without the investment in the updates and a balanced crank, they can grenade fast or run perfect for hundreds of hours. I recommend all of the updates (you can view all of the tech bulletins at Cannondaler) and a balanced crank. Then, ride it like you stole it. It will be as reliable or more so than any 2 stroke banshee and it's a faster bike anyways.
