question on GP control
Got a question about my buddies cannondale. Forgot which one he has but I think it was the middle version maybe speed, not sure. But here is my question. He has the GP Control unit where you can program in up to 3 maps. He has only modded it with a big gun exhaust and usually runs the map for moto. What is the best thing he can do for the best power. The GP control has a adjustment setting where you can change things yourself but we are not sure if we should change any of the settings. Is moto the best map for him. He mostly runs in the dunes with paddles if that makes a difference.
Thanks for any help!
P.S. Kawi is the best just kidding

The glamis map would be a good one to have also. The moto map does work well in the dunes probably better than any of the other dale maps. If you want to try a different map you could try the moto/speed map I was using it and thought it worked best for the dunes. You can download it off of the cannondaler web site. I had the glamis, moto and moto/speed maps on mine. The rider trim allows you to make ajustments on the fly within certain peramiters.

Also, each 'Dale model came with a different map, so they produced power in slightly different powerbands depending on the quad. Like ... the Speed was the biggest top end, the Blaze had the bottom end for the trails, and the Moto was all around tough to beat. The coolest thing is that you can remap your own quad so you can have all of the bikes in one - you just have to buy some software for your computer called a D&M kit which lets you hook up the PC to the quad. You can download all of the different maps for free at Cannondaler.
