Nice quad Knowsalot.
I have a few questions tho.
Who is VCC? What kind of effects did having the head milled have? Also how do you like the flywheel weight, considered having it done too mine. One last question. Whats with the E440 Primary Gear?
Thanks

Thanks guys!!
Kodiak01,
VCC is the name of the dealership which does all the work to my quad, but the guy who actually was involved with installing the 450 kit was not employed there at the time......Long story.........I am employed there as well.
The head being milled wasn't originally planned....LOL
My head warped during an engine failure last season. Just enough to need .020 taken from it. It was an added boost that wasn't planned, but was worth it. I'm not sure what my actual compression ratio is now. I haven't had it checked. They did clay the piston for valve clearance and it was enough to get by.
I would recommend the flywheel weight mod to anyone who races crosscountry or uses their Cannondale for recreational use.
It doesn't rev quite as fast beofe, but it's hard to notice it unless you know the weight is there. You will notice a big improvement in ridability though. It's harder to stall and "lugs" on the trail when you need it to.
The E440 primary gear is from the E440 dirtbike...along with the mainshaft from the trans. It's a one tooth larger than the quad and "gears" it up a bit. This allows for a higher topspeed and a longer gap between gears. I'm not sure how mine would respond with this without the flywheel mod, but I know more than a few guys who are running the complete bike engines in their quads and they have been happy.
