ok i no that cannondales whent put of business bt i was woundering if the fx 400 is any good and how fast is itcause im thinking abought buying one off of a friend thanx

If it's running now, it will probably stay running. the FX's are 432cc. just like all the rest of the 'dales. the outer main crank bearing is known to fail. Mine went 250 hours first though. Ball joints were/are a problem on cannondales, but otherwise the FX's were very solid.
You need to do alot of research and go in with your eyes open. Go to one of the cannondale specific sites and read.
