Throttle Position Calibration - Please Help
#1
I just did my first throttle calibration.
Model - 2003 Glamis - Backed out idle stop all the way.
OLD Setttings - This was getting around 95% at full throttle.
TPS Closed .24
TPS Open 4.47
NEW Settings - This gets 100% at full throttle.
TPS Closed .44
TPS Open 4.52
4.52 was same position as if I open throttle body all the way with my hand, This was the highest position by hand or cable. I wanted to get 100% and I did, but should it idle OK since I raised the TPS Closed value? Please advise, my first time doing this.
Thanks,
Jerry

Jerry,
I don't think that the idle and the TPS are linked in that manner. Once you have set the TPS than adjust the idle to the 2000-2200 RPM range and you should be fine.
