I have a buddy with a 2003 LE with a seized motor. Everything else is in good shape. He offered to sell it to me for $1,000. Do you think it is worth that? BTW I have a cdale LE also, that I blew the motor on and it has one of the last new engines from cannondale. I haven't even tried to start it. I am waiting until I have the time to take it apart and update and locktite it. What is it worth with a brand new engine?

 

You can get the motor gone through for 1100 from ATK.. This will give you all internal updates. If you need parts it will be extra, al la crank.. You can get the WWE 450 kit for 700 and the new 5th gear for 395 that closes up the gap between 4th and 5th. All cranks will go out on EVERY Cannondale.. Some go for 300hrs some go out in 10 hrs.. ATK will fix that!!!!!! If you get these motors done w/ all three options you won't want to sell it as it will hang w/ a cam modded YFZ...
