Has anybody swapped out the cannondale motor out and put another style of motor in the chassis of a theirs? I was thinking about buying a Cannondale 2002 model I think. NOt sure what is wrong with the bike, all I know is that its dead. I offered the guy $500 bucks. He sold it to some guy who kind of took some of the bike apart, and still owes him money.

 

There is a KTM swap in progress right now and a 426 yamaha has been in one. Thats a lot of work though.. It would be much cheaper just to fix up the motor thats in it The market is flooded with parts dirt cheap and now with all the upgrades they are far better engines than they were 2 years ago.
