The Cannondale is great. I had a 400EX and loved that also. The power of the Cannondale is much better and more responsive than the 400EX. There are actually few 450R's that a cannondale cannot run with. The handling is not quite as good as the 400EX. Hillclimbs are a breeze. Very quick power. I have well over 150 hours on my Blaze and have had no problems. Buy it you will not be disappointed.

I am looking at one right now and it has a twist for the gas and I was wondering if I could buy something so it would be like other four wheelers with the thumb push or is it only a twist

They put the twist on. Stock is with the thumb throttle.

I have a 2002(wife's) and a 2003(mine) and have no problems with either one. There are updates(recalls) that should be done to keep them reliable. You can find them on cannondaleriders.com. Mapping is similar to the jetting. They are fuel injected so a computer controls ignition timing and fuel delivery I believe. The different maps give different results. I am by no means an expert. Wistech on here is very knowledgeable all the way around a cannondale maybe he will chime in and correct my definition or at least expand upon it.
