I got a chance to look over the FX400 today. The local Honda dealer had one on the showroom floor next to a 400EX. First, I would say the Quality of craftmanship is first class. I have a welding, fabricating back ground, and the welds on the C-Dale are very good. Second the the size and geometry are very close to the 400EX. I think if the motor proves to be reliable, this could be the best high performance quad on the market. The price of $7950.00 is the only draw back, thats a bundle! Given the quality of the components it is understandable, but not that many weekend warriors have that kind of money for a quad. I hope Cannondale does well with the FX400, but I don't see many casual riders buying them at that price.
