Velociraptor01,
C-Dale didn't build the engine. It's an "old" Folan engine, that they modified pretty heavily. But modifying is easier than building a brand new engine. They actually only make the frame (aftermarket wheels/tires/shocks/brakes/engine...hu...what's left?)

RacerJim, 15 minutes for a spark plug change? How long does it take to take the air filter out? Could turn out to be pretty cool, in the end.
I like that quad...just a bit pricey...and not a 2 stroke

Once you take off the plastic, taking your time, is only 10min. Everthing is right there. Air cleaner another min. spark plug another 5mins. Won't need to clean the filter as offen, it BIG, the front of the plastic is the size of it. That why it has a deep sound when you hit the gas. By the way taking the gas tank out, you remove 4 small bolts and the fuel lines are quick-connecks. Not one drop comes out of anything. A nice setup.

Actually, Cannondale does manufacture the engine.

Originally it was being made by someone else, but quality control problems lead them to decide to bring the operation in house. So they now control the engine manufacturing process as well.

This may be the source of some of the "reliability" rumors the dirtbike rags are circulating.
