My Cannondale Ride Review
#11
It's kind of like comparing apples to oranges I guess. I do mostly motocross riding, which my LT is set up for, but my Raptor is not yet. However, I can tell you that my LT is preferred at the present time. I'm not saying that thr Raptor won't be as good or better once properly set up. To answer your questions.
1) The stock Raptor has slightly more top end than my LT - only because my LT is geared a bit lower for the track. In a drag it's very close depending on conditions.
2) The Raptor handles better. Hands down winner there. The LT wears you out more.
3) Both handle jumps very well, but my LT has aftermarket a-arms, axle and suspension, so no suprise what works better there. Also, the LT is much easier to throw around in the air and is lighter by far.
I really like my Raptor, but until it's set up right for the track, I have to say my LT is my choice. However, after I finish the mods on the Raptor...who knows? I'll let you know.
