I was just browsing the October issue of ATV sport and was reading the article about cannondale in it. I noticed that of the 2 quads that were pictured, there was a cannible and one that was said to be the FX400 but it had dark gray plastic on it. I was wondering if thats the color of lasts years and they changed to the silver for this year, or was it something else?

I really liked that color, thought it looked nicer than that new stuff,.

Thanks

That is a FX400 there are still some for sale at a lot of dealers but I don't think Cannondale is still making them in 2002. You should find some dealers have them. Just try calling around. Good luck

The dark gray plastic is on the 01' FX400. The silver plastic is going to be on the 02' Speed which is the updated version of the FX400. Personally I like the dark grey plastic better, and if I buy a new Speed I'm going to put the dark grey plastic off my FX on it. I just like the dark grey/black colors better.
