I'm looking to trade in my Cannibal on a Speed, Blaze, or Moto but can't decide which one. I would like to race MX next year but for Now I typically trail ride. I am leaning towards the blaze because I would add the steering stabilizer, nerfs, and kill switch anyways. My only concern is "Big Air" which the Moto would most likely handle much better than the Blaze. I first thought I could buy the Blaze and make it into a Moto but was disappointed to find out they are quite different and would cost alot of money to change shocks, A-Arms, etc.

The other concern I have is getting one of the first Moto's and having to deal with recalls or problems. The blaze has not been out as long either. For this reason was thinking the Speed might be more of a tried/true machine.

Looking for any feedback, especially from someone who has ridden the Blaze or Moto. Thanks!

The Moto would only be a little better at jumping because the suspension are valved more towards MX. The moto would have probs at trail riding, because of the extra width and lower profile tires, which are also a softer compound.

You may have to tune the shocks a little but I'm sure the blaze will handle jumps just fine. Hell, the Cannibal will handle jumps fine too. I think people are let down by the less expensive shocks on a Cannibal because they are comparing them to other after market shocks. Try comparing to stock banshee, raptor, 400ex, or any other shocks that are the stockers on some quad and they are awesome (Maybe with the exception of the DS 650). Just put a pipe, kill switch, and # plates on your cannibal and you'll have an excellent mx and trail quad and it would be wwwaaayyy less expensive.

I'd keep the Cannibal and upgrade the suspension like Kory Ellis's bike, he rides the Cannibal, too. Bobby Parr liked the Cannibal better than the Speed.

SparkeyEX,I rode the blaze on a very tough mx track. The suspention
was great,it never botomed once.<I only weigh 155lbs.>My only
complaint would be the tires. It would have handled great with
mx tires on it.They told me it had the moto EFI map.IT pulled way
harder than my FX did.
Im getting the moto because I want the wider, lower chashie.Longer
wheel travel, and mx gears. All I ride is mx,And it would take me
forever to set a blaze, speed,or cannable for mx.I would have to
finance everything, because im not to good at saving money. So I
will finance the moto and be done.
Also,I think all the bugs will be worked out of the moto before
they go into production. They have been testing prototypes for
quite a wile now.
