Fuel injection and cold weather
#2
There is a cold weather map that must be downloaded for the new computer. If you buy a new one then the dealer should already have done it. I have the older model computer and have no problems starting in cold weather. I use no gas, if it doesn't turn over after 4 cranks, I stop, hit the stop button, then try again. Usually starts on first try, never more than 3.

As far as I know, the only time you really have to adjust it is when there is a big change in air intake or exhaust. One of the fuel lines on my Dale was shut off and it sputterred a little at the bottom end and still pulled hard in top end, while in most other quads, just a little fuel restriction would cause it to barely start, and barely pull. I fixed the problem immediatly but I could tell that it would compensate for the change in fuel flow a lot.
