I would not say the C'dale lacks in dragging capabilities. In fact they do really well, they have a very smooth power band and pull strong throughout. They don't tend to wheelie like the Raptor is real bad at doing. And unlike the 2-strokes, you don't have to wait to "get on the pipe" to get your power. Not that there are alot of C'dales at Little Sahara, but on the drags there, it usually takes quite a tricked out Banshee to beat them!

As I said earlier, the C-Dale should have recieved more respect. I should have added that the rider is more important than the machine....even when dragging. There is an art to properly launching a particular atv and shifting at perfect intervals.
Also, the long wheelbase of the DS (more importantly from the swingarm pivot back) is not gonna make the DS a perfect candidate for getting "consistant" holeshots. High speed stability is normally better with this set-up though. When pulling out WFO, low end power is not used....lol

Hey Brian, I noticed you have one of the "newer" Cannibals. If you can make it out to LS while we're there, you need to ride my Cannibal and see if there really is a big difference between the older and newer ones.

i think it is just the shockwears but i could be wrong. anyways a while back ther was a guy who had a ds650 and a cannibal and he said the cannibal was faster. cdale gets no respect.

We'll be at Little Sahara on President's day in Feb and again during spring break in March, then again in April, then May, etc.

We'll all get together, I doubt if there is any differences between the older and newer Cannibal's. I'm getting ready though to order the HMF silencer and send my computer off to RS Performance and have them "remap" it. I'm tired of looking at that ugly FMF with it's heat discoloration!!

The only thing that matters in a drag race is the riders. Sit back and you will wheelie the start; sit too far forward and you will spin the tires and I think this is true on any quad. Low end power is when you are coming out of a corner in the wrong gear and the motor powers you with out the clutch and pulls to the top end. You dont use 'low end power' in a drag race.
