Just went to sterling yesterday and picked up my new cannibal, I just had to tell somebody, cause my fiance is not as excited as I am. I couldnt ride it last night because I got home at 9:30, and i live in the city, but I did put about an hour of seat time on it. My fiance kept comming into the garage and saying "why are you just sitting on it" I just kept saying, " you dont understand how sweet this thing is" anyways.
I have to say, it is so cool, every weld is freaking perfect, and the engine sounds rightous, oooh im so excited to ride it, im going to a local track on Sunday for the first ride, sort of bummed though cause I have to puts around for an hour breaking it in, then im heading home to change the oil and tranny fluid. I read the instructiuons last night, any tips/ otherwise, after I ride ill post my impressions, and illget some picks, but I have never posted picks before, where do I do it and how.
Ok enough, but I have to say I dont think it looks goofy at all, I love the way it looks, YEEEEEEHAAAAAAAA!!

ALLRIGHT TROUT!
i can feel your excitement all the way in FL. I felt the same way when I got mine! In fact I still go out and sit on it sometimes. Remember that it takes a while to get used to that monster power delivery and be careful. Take your tools to the track and change the fluids there. it's not hard.
Oh, I love the way the Cannibal looks too!

Some AC Nerfs, Mothers aluminum polish for the frame, and shaving the fenders looks ssssooooooooooo sweet. Thats what I have done to mine. It takes a little getting used to but getting to the front or at least close to the front on a completely stock quad against piped banshees, R's, 400ex's, and Raptors is pretty sweet. Hope you have a lot of fun with the dale... I know I am. The most important info on starting your C'dale, follow this and you should not foul your plug:

Turn key on and switch on, pull in clutch and just bump the starter, you should hear the injector for a few seconds. Wait about 5 seconds after you bump the starter, now hit the starter again and it should start right up, if it doesn't don't sit there and crank for longer than say 3 seconds. The c'dale is harder to start when it's cold but always follow this starting procedure and you should not foul your plug. Change your oils often and keep an eye on your chain guard, supposedly the new harder material ones are now available????

thanks for the starting tips, I didnt have any trouble starting it last night. The dealer said the most important thing was to stop the engine with the stop button, THEN turn the key off. Also he said to start, turn key on wait two seconds and then hit the starter, no gas!, and let it warm up at idle for two to three minutes. I didthis several times with no problem. im canning my ski trip tomorrow and going to the track. IT is going to be embarrasing puttsing around for an hour while everyone will probably want to see this thing go, and since I have NEVER riden an MX tack before, I am NOT going to try to catch air and see how fast I can go, but I could care less about the onlookers. im going to a shop tonight to get extra plus and some stuff, what are the best spark plugs? and are they hard to switch?
thanks guys.

Spark plug is NGK CR8EK (at least that's what my manual calls for, Cannibal) they are expensive but you should only need to buy one spare, they are around $9.50. One other important note, take your time and do exactly what the owners manual states during the breakin period, very important for your motor to last a long time. And yes, replacing the spark plug is a pain to replace but, if you follow those starting instructions, you should not foul your plug.
