my raptor is a 2001 and i have so much $ invested in it i am going to keep it but i can tell you this i bought my cannibal 5 weeks ago and i havent ridden my raptor since....
heres my take on it...
after riding the cannibal the first time and coming down off the high it was extremly apparent that it has a lot more power top to bottom than the raptor/its really not even close/1st gear thru 4th are incredible/the lower center of gravity on the"c" and the longer swingarm(1 1/2"
than the raptor keep it planted out of the hole and in the corners.my "c" is so quick its almost
as if its riderless and i weigh 170 fully geared
it is a higher maint.quad but i enjoy my time in the garage/to be honest, who in this forum doesn
like learning about their quads?
Actually the only time consuming part about this quad is the break-in,after that its not very different.(polaris quads are much more of a pain in the butt)
Reliabity remains to be seen but i rode last weekend night and day without so much as a hiccup
all weekend long
problems?my fuel filter was on backwards from the factory/i discovered this by reading my manual.
