the upgrades do not increase the overall suspension travel just in case you were

according to mike at ohlins, yes,you can adjust the ride height.

 

So which shocks are these for? The ones that come on the Speed or the Cannibal?

 

the speeds that are currently in production and the early production cannibals
(i am only refering to the front shocks in this post)

 

Does that deal work with the 01 FX's too? Hopefully, because for only 350 more, it would be worth it.

So they replace the single spring with dual springs then add the external resevior? for $350. With this upgrade does it give you full adjustability (compression and rebound dampening)

Yes, the upgrades will work on early FX400's. I have a couple of friends with serial numbers 4 & 7 (or close to those numbers, they are both in the single digits like that) you don't get much earlier than that. If you look at my photos page you can see what they look like completed. He put red plastic on it, so don't let it confuse you it is an FX400. They are pleased with them.
