Greg are those yellow springs the stock ones or do they replace the stock springs with a shorter one then add the dual rate black one?

My dealer told me he would switch out the shocks on the cannibal or the speed for the ones on the blaze for $350 a shock. It seems like a better deal to buy the speed and send them away for $350 total. Are you essentially getting a blaze shock when you send them to ohlin. Also does this include a revalve, I am kinda of a big guy (250) and would like the shocks adjusted to my weight. I would like to know the turnaround time also, cuz if I have to wait a month, I might just have my dealer switch out the blaze's. thanks -josh

yeh i hear ya, I would really hate to get my bike, then have to send it away for three weeks. I have been trying to get a damn bike for two months now. First I couldn't get financed and wanted to buy the cannibal with ALL the goodies, now that my financing is take care of ($8000 waiting), I can't decide what bike I want since all the old cannibals are gone.

1)cannibal: with magura clutch, boxed swingarm, itp wheels/tires, trade up for blaze shocks, OTD(tax, title, setup) for $7986.

2)speed: stock but has the tag handlebars, steering dampener, grippy seat, the color I really want, and don't have to remap, OTD(tax, title, setup) $8200

descisions, descisions, I put money down on the cannibal and then changed my mind cuz I wasn't happy. The way I look at it is if I get the cannibal like that then I will add the tags($100), seat cover($50), map($100), steering dampener($200), so I am at the same price as the speed with the shocks sent to ohlins. Well I am actually venting cuz I can't decide, what would you do.

Ouch I think for the $200 more I'd just get the Speed. I bought an Early 2002 Cannibal Demo with the Ohlins,ITP's,Tag Bars,Graydon Nerfs, Newer Boxed swingarm, and HMF Pipe for $5800 OTD.

your a lucky man, that would sure make my descision a lot easier. the speed, thats what I am thinking too, even though my dealer is Pushing the cannibal with the blaze shocks HARD, dunno what the deal with that is. Would be nice if he through in the blaze t2 tag handlebars too. He must be making more money off of the cannibal, that is why. If he sold me the speed for $8200, minus my $500 tax...he is pushing the selling price down to $7700 vs. full msrp for the cannibal. The other question I had is my dealer told me that he breaks in the bike and gives it the first oil change for the $150 setup fee, anyone heard of this, he said all dealers are "suppose" to do this and check all the bolts twice for looseness.

I just talked to Joey and the $350 Upgrade gives you dual rate springs and an External res. you still do not have compresion and rebound dampening adjustments. He also said he could revalve them for free while they where there.
