Steering stem stop
#1
I've sold my EX, and I'm about to be the proud owner of a new Speed. I like everything about the quad, except for the steering. It def. has a wider turning radius than my old 400ex, and I was wondering if anyone has done anything to change it?
I was wondering if anyone tried shaving off about a 1/4" of each side of the steering stem stop block to give it more travel? I don't want to bind up the tie-rods, so I wanted to see if anyone tried this yet.
I can't imagine the race teams are running them in the GNCC class this way. I know how tight some of those trails are.
