In this week's Maine Sunday Telegram there were two articles in regards to reckless ATVers. The biggest one dealt with a land owner battling a few of rouge riders who refuse to obey his wishes (staying off his land). INSTEAD THESE FOOLS CONTINUE TO RIDE ON HIS PROPERTY!!! Now the land owner is forced not only to post signs, but hidden cameras, gates and other blockades. The other article spoke of ATVers riding on snowmobile trails. People need to start using a little common sense!!!

 

Yep, that is what makes a lot of people try to do anything to stop us from riding... for example: I was riding over at a friends house and I was riding outside of a ditch (on the opposite side of the road) and I noticed peaces of glass all the way down the path for about 200 yards. At first I thought, "Dang! people need to quit littering." but then it got a little fishy when I noticed the glass wasn't any where else... just on the path but any in the grass between the path and the road... well, I let my friend know about this and he was very shocked since he went riding there just the day before and said there wasn't any glass there. So that pretty much confirmed that somebody was just trying to make us get a flat tire (or 4) and this was on HIS PRIVATE PROPERTY. Yes, I said it was by the ditch but it when I say BY the ditch, I mean about 30 ft. beside it so that was considered HIS land. Well just to top it all off, when I went over there to show him where it was, I was riding along very slowly and all off a sudden, my front left tire drops off in a HUGE hole... Well let me tell ya, I KNOW that someone dug it... if an animal can dig a hole and make the sides that smooth and even make the lines where you can see where the shovel scraped along the side, well than thats one SMART animal. Good thing I was riding very slowly.

Sorry for the long post, but I just thought i would tell you what some of those tree huggin, quad hating, people will do to stop us. Some way to save the land huh? **What goes through their minds when their doing this?** I'll tell you, "Those D@mn 4-wheeler riders are tearing up the land... hey! I know, we can save the land by hiding huge holes that we dig and throw glass everywhere." ...... Something seem strange about that to you?

 

It's kind of funny how they complain about all our quads, motorcycles, and any other off-road vehicle making dust and "tearing up" the land when they go blow up buildings and kill innocent people. If they thought about it, when they destroy a building, they are making it worse for the land because it's just going to take more natural resources to rebuild the buildings. Sunday my uncle came over and his daughter handed me a couple stickers with a quad and dirtbike on them, and they said something on them about "saving the land". Damn Elementary schools must be run by a bunch of hippies!

Oh I almost forgot, there is an old man who always gets pissed when I ride on the road in front of my house, which is red cinder. I take my R/C car(nitro) in the road and tear it up pretty bad sometimes, and he doesn't care about that, but if I putt down the road on a quad he complains. I just don't get it!
