Well i went to ocala and was showing the cannibal to some guys with 400s and we found a big crack. the bar beside the bottom of the engine cracked all the way in half. this is only my 3rd real ride, the other times i have just ridden it around the house. if i have to pay for this i am going to sell it and get a 400ex or a crf450.

 

Corndog, man I am soooo bummed for you, that really sucks!! could you post some pictures of this? I am intersted in seeing the crack. IT concerns me a great deal to hear this from you. I would first off post to Scott montgomery and see what he says, and then I would call the dealer and see what they say obviously. I am 99.999% certain you will NOT have to pay for that, especially if it is under warantee. But even if it isnt I highly doubt they would make you buy a new frame. IS anyone else concerned about this? This is not good.

I have yet to hear or see anything like this on a Cannondale.

Is this one of the bottom members seperate from the frame itself that supports the engine??

Call your dealer and see what the situation is and let us know what comes about it.

yes, it was a very fast bike. i loved it until the frame cracked, but what good is it if you cannot ride it.

 

I'll take the Cannibal off your hands[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Are you sure you didn't hit a big rock or stump or something since you ride &quot;all woods&quot;. I don't see how it could have cracked unless you hit something. Don't these things come with skids? Anyway sorry to hear about your misfortune. How much are you going to sell it for?

 

corndog you got to post pics dude, your credibility is going south FAST, need to see the cracks and need to know if your remember hitting anything major when riding! You posted pics before so know you got a camara, come on!!

 

the pics are on a disposable camera that has 5 of the 27 pics taken so far.

 

ill buy you a dozen disposable cameras and mail them to you dude, go get them developed, and post them I got to see this crack! Did you call your dealer? Did you call Cannondale? whats the status?
