Speed worth it over raptor or new suzuki?

The raptor's a lead sled, over 400 pounds plus it's top heavy, it's so narrow!! Had one, bought the C'dale, couldnt't wait to get rid of the dinosaur!! A stock Cannibal will run rings around modded up raptors. I consistently drag race raptors with header pipes, silencers, jet kits, air box mods, etc., at LS, it's never a race. Then when you get the 2 quads on a track, well again, no comparison. Just look at the stadium series pro quads, podium finishes on Cannibals!!

Well, lets see here... for the $400 you save on the Raptor, you can buy a pipe, jet kit, and do some air box mods. Sorry to tell you this buddy, I have NEVER been beat by a Raptor and EVERY one of them that I have raced against had those mods. And then you are still stuck with a quad that is heavier, narrower, and taller. The stock suspension on the Raptor doesn't compare either.

I rode Smittys Speed. Very nice. I'm considering one. Will I laugh when I see a raptor, absolutely not! I will say the bike has alot to do with it, but the rider has ALOT MORE to do w/ it. I will not bash any quad, but at the dunes here a Cannondale will beat a Raptor in a monster sand hill Sand Mtn, but don't be fooled that a raptor can't hang w/ a speed in anything other then a straight line in the sand. A normal minded person knows a Speed will kill a Raptor on a track if the riders are of equall skill. If you widen out the Raptor and let it breath it's much closer. A good rider can make up for alot on an inferior machine. A Speed revs very well, but doesn't have the low end grunt of a Raptor. If you want low end grunt and mid buy a Raptor if you like to rev by a Speed. You can't go wrong either way...Raptors run good w/ no paddles huh Smitty. I got my jetting correct right after you left. Took the tape off the remaining holes on the airbox lid.
