Hello All!

On March 15th 2002, I became the proud owner of a 2002 Cannibal. I've been reading this forum for the past couple of months, and I'd like to thank you all very much for helping make the decision to purchase a Cannondale. Last weekend, I got my first real chance to ride it (other than my break in rides), with a trip to Dumont Dunes. To say that I came away with a smile on my face is an understatement! The power and suspension are absolutely awesome. It pulled Competition Hill in 3rd Gear with zero bog down, and I misjudged an 8 foot dropoff at about 35 mph and those ohlins soaked it up with ease. I can't wait to take it out again, in the hopes that I can improve my skills to the point that I'm worthy of such an incredible machine.

As a token gesture of my thanks to you all, I've comprised a list of the top 10 reasons to buy a cannondale. I hope you enjoy it, feel free to add your own thoughts, and I look forward to trading many thoughts, stories, and tips with all of you as we enjoy our cannondales in the years ahead.

1. Made in the USA, by an American Business.
2. Aluminum Frame
3. Cannondale's Annual Report - an incredible amount is dedicated to their motorsports division even though it's only a fraction of their bicycle business. This demonstrates their committment to us!
4. Best power to weight ratio in the market
5. Fuel injection and that wicked throttle response
6. Scott Montgomery and the entire Cannondale team. You've shown a committment to support us, and we will support you and Cannondale.
7. Ohlins shocks
8. This forum and all of the valuable information you've all shared
9. You know Cannondale's the best, because the others can't stop talking how their bikes compare. Have you looked in the other brand's forums?
10. If you're not a leader, you'll never be a winner!
