What is one of the things that has really p!ssed you off the most on the MX track?

For me, it is flaggers...

Swan MX- a little kid was flagging and I guess he just got bored and he was just playing around w/ the flag, watching it wave around in the wind, and just having a grand ol' time. The problem is, HE WAS DOING IT DURING THE RACE!!! Everyone would slow down and role the jump because they thought there was a wreck or something on the other side, but no, it was just the stupid little kid waving the flag for the fun of it. After a while people just disregarded him and then someone actually did go down, and somebody else landed right on top of him. Everyone at the track was getting really p!ssed off but the track officials didn't replace the little kid. During that same wreck, two guys ran to the top of the jump to direct the riders out of the way but unfortunately, the two guys were pointing in opposite directions... well, you could imagine that the riders were probably a little confused by now. Then this weekend at Fourstates MX, some guy went down on a down hill jump and a bunch of people went down there to help him. Well the flagger thought it would be a good idea to go and help to, and even though that was a nice thing to do, I think the other riders would have appreciated him waving the yellow flag at the top of the hill. I mean, this guy saw the wreck, waved the flag around for a little while and after some people already got there and were helping the rider, the flager just drops his flag and helps out too! That was just putting the riders, the fallen rider, and all the personell working to help the guy out in danger. Makes me really wonder if some people have ANY common sence. Well, thats my story... what about yall? What is the most annoying thing in your opinions?

Same $hit happened here this weekend at hammond. In this case there was no flag man.One kid wiped out on the other side of a big face of a double and was already hurt and another kid jumped on top of him.
That was an owful sight!

The thing that really gets to me is when I go on a practice day and they split the little bikes and the big bikes up.That is a great idea but every time they call the little bikes off and the big bikes on there is always 2 or 3 small bikes that stay on and the people running the show dont say $h!t.I almost hit a couple before coming off a jump and cant see them.I would feel terable to hit one.I feel like going and kicking there parents A$$e$ for letting them out with us.

My friend wrecked his bike at Fox Raceway-Marienville, PA. It was on a double double section. He wrecked off of the first double, and was laying between the set of them. The jagoff flagger was too busy making out with his beeotch, that he didn't even know a wreck happened. Luckily for my friend, it happened right in front of us. Me and another friend jumped the fence and took care of business. The sad part is that WE got an @$$ chewing because we jumped the fence to help a friend-all because the flagman wasn't paying attention.

One wreck is bad enough, let alone having another wreck as a result of poor flagmanship(is that even a word?)

A few years ago, a had a run in with a flagman/waterboy. The track is dedicated to dirtbikes. The quads run at the end of each moto. I was running in the fourstroke class, which is at the dead end of the moto.

In the middle of the last lap of the race, a flagman decided it was time to ahead and get ready for the dirtbikes again. He puts down the flag and grabs a water hose!!! He just runs water over the face of the jump where he was supposed to be "flagging". I saw this and didn't have any problems, but after I crossed the finish line [6th I think], you could tell something was going on over the other side of the track.

It utrns out that the big mud hole made by the "flagman" made it a bit too slippery for two guys duking it out in the last lap. They got tangled and muddied up the "flagman" in the process. The track owner even sided with the "flagman" over this dispute.

That track rarely sees more than a dozen quads show up ever since then.

I don't feel that quad guys should be "above" the dirtbike riders, but at least show equal favortism huh??

My goodness, the guy could have waited another 5 minutes couldn't he??

So,......along with others, I would say the "flagman" is the guy to look out for at the track. Forget about the guy lined up next to you!!!!!!!!!!!

i had quite a few problems myself being annoyed by a flagger. Well there was this guy who wiped out on the other side of a step up. when i came up the flag guy wasnt flagging and i dang near hit him. then on the next lap(after getting into1st place) i came to the same spot and the flagger was standing in the middle of the track with his back to me with the flag out. I thought they were having problems and i was suppsed to stop. so i stopped right behind him he turned around as said "GO!" When i made it over the top of the step up there was no one there. Any way because of this i lost my lead and almost went up to the guy after the race to give an attitude adjustment. I didnt though cause i would have been booted from the Season for the rest of the year.

At another Race i qualified 2nd place. Went up to the starting get to run my 1st moto. When this big toothless hick that was running the gate said "WTF are you doing here!" I said Hey man i qualified 2nd and should be in this moto. He slapped me in the head with his clip board telling me to get the f____ out of this area. As soon as i got off my quad to get my point across to this idiot, the moto started! After that i saw red! I turned around and knocked the guy in the mouth send his head into the side of the ambulance, leaving a big dent. I immediatley walked up to the tower and told them what was going on. After 2hrs of arguing with them they finally got the sheet from the girls who keep records on who finished where. They looked at the sheet and in 2nd place was my name! They appologized and gave me my money back for the entry fee. Sure it was better than nothing but when i drive 2hrs to get to a rave and use a vacation day from work and they pull this! Boy it still gets me fired up. Luckily though they never did nothing about me knocking out the hick or make me pay for the dent in the ambulance.

Hopefully this years season is better.
