Well guys I ordered my speed 3 weeks ago and it is still not here. I put down $100 to order, they waited a week then supposedly put in the order. I called a week later when it was suppose to be in..."Cannondale is waiting for the new silencers from there supplier", should be here anyday. Well I called last thursday to see if I would have it by the weekend, "we will call you back", no phone call, and no riding in the 80 degree weather for me. So I call yesterday, (still being polite). "Well we have left three messages with cannondale to see when you bike is gonna be here, and they haven't called back, We will call again and let you know by the end of the day. 5 o clock comes and no phone call. So I call cannondale today and speak with Debbie, she calls me right back and tells me she will call my dealer.

--------------------NOTE: Well as I was typing this my dealer called and said my speed shipped today, I will have it by the weekend. Yippee, I love cannondale, I mean it took 5 minute phone call to cannondale and 15 minutes of waiting and everything is all cleared up, wish I would have called last week.

If anyone else is having problems with there dealer I highly suggest calling cannondale customer service!

 

No Dex, there really was a problem with the silencers. [The stamping wasn't holding up on some machines whjen it backfired. While the silencer going to mulch during a backfire is a good thing,....it was just a little TOO easy for it tio rip at the seam.

I received two new updated silencers TODAY.

I was aware of the silencer problem and it makes sense that the order "could" have been held up for this, but what kinda made me mad is when I put down the deposit the dealership said that they had talked to cannondale and there was a speed in a box ready to ship that was just waiting on the final word from him, that he was getting ready to order a speed anyway. I also talked to cannondale and said that they were not waiting on any silencers from a supplier. Anyway this all doesn't matter as I will have it by the weekend, I can't wait. BTW, what was suppose to be a bi*ch about a dealer turned into a PRAISE for cannondale, everything said about there customer service is spot on. Now all I need is a trailer...anyone have a 5x8, 6x10 for sale in Ohio?
