Whats a red sticker?? Do they restrict you from riding in trails or something?? Cuz I got a red FOX sticker and I guess I'm going to not put it on the dale if I can't ride with it on.....................

Yes, if all goes as planned I will be getting a Speed around September. I thought about waiting until January so I wouldn't have to finance as much, but i want to go to Glamis Thankgiving weekend so I don't know. I'm just glad things are looking up for me instead of the usual down[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] You're a little too far away! Maybe when I become a Pro Racer(lol, I hope someday!) I'll come ride down there with ya.

 

On California offroad car, trucks, bikes, and quads the registration is a sticker that you place on the whatever. Due to our higher concentration of air polution the Air Resource board has two stickers Green and Red. In the past all four strokes and small displacement two strokes got the Green and can ride year around in all areas. It would appear that they have changed this to some four strokes being effected. I will have to find out why.

I have a question, when you apply for Green Stickers, what do they do to check for pollution? Whats on the sticker that makes it idenitfiable with your bike? what I'm getting at is, maybe you could find someone with a little 4 stroke mini quad, use that for the testing, than put the Green Sticker on your C-Dale when it comes in the mail. I know it's lying, but I would rather tell a little lie than not ride for a whole summer!

 

You don't have to have your quad smog checked it just based on the type of engine and displacement. If they run your driver lisc and quad ID they will fine you. Remember only you can support Ca. with your taxes and Tickets.

Smitty, a few of the guys who ride the C-dales(bikes) have gotten the green stickers for Cal. If you want some advice in how to get the sticker check with them on www.thumpertalk.com and maybe someone can steer you in the right direction. Good luck!!!!!!!
