here goes I'm thinking of buying a cannondale, and most of my riding is tight woods, about about 25% of the time I get the chance to ride powerline trales and siltbanks.

Is first gear in this machine good for slower speeds when you get into technical parts with out sliping the clutch all the time like my DS703. The sales man a my local shop keeps saying this is a race machine for the track. But is should take his advise with a grain of salt if i would take a guesse he is about 70 a his butt has never been on the seat with the bike running.

you are the men that ride the machines all the time what is your
inpresion.

thanks.

SO far I have found it to be a better trail bike because you can buzz around in 1st for longer than other bike due to the very high Redline. No you wont have to slip the clutch to menuver tight stuff.
