I hate to sound like a smart-a$$, but why don't you just call your local dealer? You can try to talk him down from there. The MSRP's are listed on the website, and in the ATV magazines. You should be able to talk a dealer down at least 300 to 400 dollars off of that suggested price to get your out the door price. I just bought my latest quad,400EX, a few months ago. The MSRP is $5699, and I got it for $5250 out the door. You just gotta call around and do the research for yourself. Prices will vary from state to state, and from dealer to dealer. You should at least talk to 2 or 3 dealers if you are serious about buying one. Let them know what the other guy offers, and you will get a good deal from the one that wants the sale the most. It's just like buying a car.

I spent an extra $150 because I disliked the cheaper one so much. They were bad mouthing every other dealer and actually got in trouble by cannondale for thier business practices. I am not sure what everyone else got thiers OTD for but my speed was $8300 (tax, title, bike, etc.). you have to remember tax is close to $500 on these machines. I visited four dealerships, two of them would not budge on price, one said $8150 but I didn't like them at all and the other I got down to $8300 (the one i bought), I probably could have got him a little lower but he didn't have a speed in stock, he had to order it. But for payin a little more I got a dealer that is gonna be on my side if something goes wrong and that is important to me.

Here's the rough figures

Referb Cannibal - ~$5000 (depending on dealer) - excellent value, I've got one.
Cannibal - $6999
Speed - $7999
Blaze - $10,000
Moto - $12,000

Those are not exact figures but are very close

In my experience you wont find a huge difference in price variance from MSRP at most dealers. Sure you can save a few bucks but not a ton. Cannondales are not a mass produced jap bike that can be ordered 50 at a time. These machines are hand built one at a time and are sometimes hard to come by. If you want one you will probably have to pony up some number close to retail. I know at the dealer close to me if you want it buy it now, if you dont someone else will have it in a day or two. These machines are hot and supply is not as high as the demand. These are just my observations.

Hey Dex, those dealers are Washington state, that would be quite a hual from Delaware

There are also a couple dealers in VA now, one in Front Royal and one in Hampton, not sure which would be closer to you. I had to drive down to Durham NC to get my Speed, paid $7999 +tax.
