Wilddirt,

I would not rule out other quads for your purpose. The c'dale is an awesome quad in it's element and it's best elements are MX and the dunes. The motor makes most of it's power in the mid to top end and has a 'two stroke like' feel to it - kinda jumpy power. Does that mean you can't ride it in your area? absolutely you can but, you may have to fight it a bit more. I really don't think the c'dale engineers had creek crossings in mind whne they designed it, they were thinking double jumps, holeshots, cornering, and drag races.

Let me qualify my comments by saying I don't own - I have just ridden it but, having ridden many other quads it just doesn't strike me as a mud bike and because it is so high-tech it might be more sensative to such environments.

FWIW
