scoop on 2003 Cdales from ATVAddiction....

I spoke to ATVaddiction today to get the word on the '03 line up. Mechanically, there will be no difference next year he says. The cannibal will come in dark silver/black trim and have a couple of minor changes like tires or something along those lines. The speed will identical, the glamis will be like the speed with wider front and different mapping for duning...slightly higher priced than the speed. I'm sure you've seen the limited edition cannibal at cannondale.com. They'll be out later this month and the rest I guess after that this summer or into the fall. That's what I got. Anyone know anything else for a fact?? I am looking into getting a speed and since the 2003 model will be the same, I guess there's no reason to wait.

Actually there is one significant difference in the '03 lineup and that is the new steering column geometry. It handles a lot better with this column, less bumpsteer and more positive steering feel. The suspension has also been updated on the cannibal. There may be some really cool stuff going on with the Blaze and Moto for '03 but it's still up in the air at this point.

Even BETTER handling?!?!!? Good gawd 4strokemadman... shouldn't yall at Cannondale give the "big" 4 a fighting chance? Hehehe J/K.
Can you give any info as what cool stuff could be going on with the Moto and Blaze?
Also, since you are one of the tech guys (right?), could you bring up the idea for some sealed tie rod ends? If not, thats ok. Just a suggestion though.
I don't want to ask to much of a company that has given so much

Yo Daddy,
I am an engineer. I can't give you details on the moto/blaze but our mantra in R&D is always lighter, faster and reliable! We have been working on sealed tie rod ends. We have some very rigorous tests that our components must meet, once we get these suckers to pass the testing they'll be in production!
