Yea, I was over on the atvaddiction site too and Lewis, one of the guys who works there from what I can gather, was saying that the cannibal will have Fox Shocks. I don't know much about the shocks or the company, but from what I saw on their web-site they seem to be o.k. Do any of you guys know anything about them? How does their shock line-up compare to the Ohlin's line-up? I am getting an '03 model and was thinking about the cannibal, but if they down graded the rear shock and ofcourse the front shock isn't an Ohlin, I'm going to get the speed. What do you guys think?? I think the ohlins are a bit over rated. Yeah the rear Ohlin shock is awesome but the fronts really aren't that great. Why don't you buy a Cannibal, save yourself the $1000, and buy some Elka's or PEP's or hell, even some Works and you would have BETTER shocks and save yourself some money. The only other thing thats really a lot better on the speed is the handlebars. IMO... maybe the seat cover and extra 1000 RPMs is more important to you than it is to me.

I believe the Bombs use FOX as the stock set up the question might be better posed there. My bud has had no problem with his, although he rarly gets it out or second gear. He's a tecnical rider = Rides slow in the fast areas.LOL

Yeah get a Cannibal. A moto remap is like 30 bucks and a HMF piped 189 and some good Elka shocks 725-775. There's your extra grand spent a much better way....I do like the color of the speeed though.

Well, I agree that the cannibal would be the better route to take along with the after-market front shocks and re-map, but only if the rear shock is just as good as the Ohlin. Which in this case, I wouldn't think it would be. Why would cannondale change the shock out? The only answer I can come up with is that it costs less, which to me means it's not as good. If one was to buy the cannibal with the down graded rear shock they would be looking at closer to $1300 on up-grades to get the machine even with the speed. That's just my feelings.
