Well guys this is it.

I'm giving up. I've tried for almost 2 years now to buy a quad. But,without a steady job,it's not at all easy earning 4500 dollars. I've bought some magazines, and knowsalot has sent me some. We're good friends,so don't go begging him to send you stuff!
The closest thing I have gotten to a quad is a 6HP Go-Kart.
Which after only 1 day of use one of my back tires blew, and the kart was sold. I didn't get one cent of that money.
I'm not going to even look back or even buy any magazines of quad related issue. Because,it'll just make me want one more. Maybe while I'm gone,Honda will strike back with some 750cc quad! Like they would ever do that. But Im sure they will come out with SOMETHING great.
In the next 3 years until I turn 16,I have fallen in love with another sport. Paint ball. I just got thru playing yesterday and loved every second of it. I'm going to buy myself a very nice $350 gun. Its the next best thing aside from angel Paint ball guns which cost 1500-2000 dollars.
Bye,everybody I hope I helped a good deal of you, because most all of you sure have helped me.
See Ya in 3 years.
Later,
Thrust

Thrust,
Don't give up completely there.
Just because you aren't able to obtain a quad now, doesn't mean that the oppritunity to get one will never come your way. Stay involved from an "observers" view at the very least. Read the magazines every once in a while. Check on here from time to time. By doing this, you will not have to play catch up later on.
I know this probally isn't the machine you want, but when times are tough, ANY quad is better than no quad at all. It only takes 4 paychecks to buy a used Blaster in good condition. Start there and keep it until you can afford something else.......
Don't want to bore you, but when I was a kid, I was in the same boat as you. I wanted a new Honda ATC110 so bad, that I would have done anything to acquire one. Then one day, right after the ATC185 was introduced, there was an old man down the road who bought one and kept the 110. I wanted it and asked him about buying it. He said that he would sell it for $300.00...and kept it for me for a few weeks until I had enough money to buy it. My parents helped me out with most of it. The rest came from saved up lunch money that I had saved. I rode the wheels off of that thing for over a year and got involved into a few races that were about 50 miles from my house. They had a flat track that completely covered a large field. It was here where I met the legend of the south's 3 wheeler racers...JC Tyler. He had an ATC110 equipped with the engine from a 1969 SL90 motorcycle engine. It had kick start and a manual clutch. 6 months later, I also had the same setup. Fast as a 200X. At that time there was no 200X, so I was king of the county for a while.
Boring...I know, but as you can see, oppritunities come when you at least expect them. Save some dough and grab up a used quad.
Hang around here as well. For someone as young as you, you have helped out alot of people whether they know it or not.

Instead of wasting the money on paint *****, work out a deal with someone that wants to sell one. You do work they give you quad. You put down payment and if you agree to let you ride it at mile stone payments. All the better.
Good things come to those who wait.
What about Car washes, cutting grass, trimming trees, etc. etc. There are a million ways to make money today, find ONE.
