I talked to my dealer this past weekend about the crappy tie rods ends. (He also races a speed and agrees about the tie rods). Well since his also a Polaris dealer he installed the rubber boot the fits over the polaris tie rods on his dale, this keeps a good bit of grease in and dirt/water out. So I tried and I would recommend going to your location Polaris dealer and buyin a set and sliding them over the tie rod ends.

Well this is the number that was on the bill P/n: 5410540. The salesman (Doug at Valley Atv Polaris in Danville Ohio) said that it is a standard part that is used on all the polaris quads. I paid $4.50 each for a total of $18. If you want to contact Doug here's the dealer's number (740)599-7977. By the way up have to cut a hole in them so the grease fitting can go though it. I find that if start the boot on the fitting and use some needle nose pliers you can pull the boot over, then poke a hole over the grease fitting so it can come thru. Hope this helps.

I'll try to get some pics of the boots on the tie rods and some shots of other things I've added to the quad as soon as I can.

Thanks for the tip.

Thats one of the things I really like about the C-dales. They are easy to customize and make them look really sweet w/ all the aluminum on them.

I just went and picked some up tonight ($3.75). That is the right part #. I think he said it was for the 93-97 Polaris. The newer ones have a bolt hole in the top.

I've got 3 Polaris's and thought the boots might fit, I'll have to give it a try.
