Hey i dont know if you guys have had a problem with your gas tank but i did. so cdale sent a new tank and cap but when you turn it down it will pop off. so my dealer (Dave @ JOHN BURR in fontana, CA) wanted to get me hooked up right. if found a cap of of a bike they did a lean sale on and it worked. the bike was a 86-89 cr 125 or 250(?). hey gave me the cap to run righ now and tuesday when they open up he will get a new one for me. so i dont know if you guys have had any probs like that but i hope that helps. i will post a part number when i get it.

They had to order my boots the other night and I went to pick them up today, wrong ones. Even though they order the old style (no holes on top), Polaris automaticly cross reference to the new ones (hole on top). I didn't take them, I think they would do more harm than good. Does anyone have ones with out the hole?

YOu have no idea how many people have had this problem. My quad is in the shop right now and they are putting in a tank from an 03 to fix it. I flat out refused to drive a quad that fills my crotch with gas. Thanks for the tip, I am sure it will help alot of people.

I was just there this past week (Valley ATV), I don't know about any open house or adding to the shop, but they do have a DS650 Baja there.

At the national this past weekend I talked to some other Cannondale owners a couple siad something about tie-rod ends off of 1/4 midget (indoor go-karts that kids race) use a tie-rod that works. I don't know this first hand, but they said Jegs has them in stock, just take one of the tie-rods off your quad and they match the dims. w/ what they have. I've been told that these tie-rods are sealed. If any know anything about this let us all know thanks.

Dug up from the grave...
I tried to get the boots. They had the hole in the center for the bolt. I'm assuming this isn't what you have, LT250R91. Someone said from 93-97. Is there a specific model?? I want these boots, but need help getting the right ones. In that case, call Doug- where you got yours. Just did, he's not there. I'll follow up with him later. Anything you could offer would be appreciated.

First of all did you give the part number I listed? If so they should be thee right ones. Mine had a hole on the top and bottom for the bolt the go through that mounts the tie-rod end on. For a idea of how the tie-rod end comes apart go to cannondals website and view there online parts catalog. look at the a-arm section. The rubber boot fits right over the tie-rod (item 8) end with the hole where the bolt (item 20) goes thru. Hope this helps.
