Spark Plugs, Stalling, other probs?
#1
Just curious as to how many have had the problems with theirs stalling? Is it also true that the plug will foul after the first initial hour of riding? After that, how often have you been changing the plug? How long does it take to change the plug? What about the turning radius that they mentioned in dirt wheels? Do you really notice that it doesnt' turn as sharp as the others? I like to ride in the woods, and on the track? Is a SPEED the machine for me?

Warrier,
I have an Early Speed #54. I have yet to change the plug. It turns sharp, to me at least. To get to the plug will take you about 5-9 min. because you have to take off all the plastic adnd shock support. It's not a big deal it took me that long on my 400EX due to position of the plug.
The Cannondales where made for the track, MX, Trails whatever. The only thing you will notice is that the motor Idle is higher than most. You get used to it.
Hope that helps.

As for turning, this thing turns great. It turns much tighter than my Warrior everthought about. With no body english at low speeds, it will turn right around. My War dog will push pretty significantly. We'll see about fixing the stalling. My bro' just replaced his plug for the first time after about 160 hours- that's a lot of riding. Changing the plug after an hour sounds a little bogus or at least isolated to a couple bikes.

The spark plug thing is just rider error... it happened to me and I think it was from luggin it around for a long time in to high of a gear and then shutting it off (the dales don't seem to like it when they don't get to rev out real good sometimes) and starting and stoppin the quad a lot doesn't seem to be to great either.
As for it not having a good turning radius... LOL... according to its specs, it has a better turning radius than a 400ex and I haven't heard people complain about the 400's turning.
