i am heading for the silver lake sand dune in a few weeks. any preferences for mapping when riding in the dunes? how about sand drags? i have an 02 cannibal w/ohlins suspension.

 

Did they let you in?? Do you have a spark arrestor on your bike??

i have not been there yet. but the stock cannibal exhaust has a spark arrestor. there might be a problem with noise though. the state has a new law 0f 94 decibels. i checked with one of the local motorsports stores and they said this year they are letting people go up to 98 decibels but this year only. i spoke to the cannondale dealer in cadillac which is not to far from silver lake and they had not heard of anyone having a problem getting in.
