I wonder how much more power you could get from the Dales if you got it bored to a true 440. I mean, it's only a 8cc difference but look at the difference a 416 makes on a 400ex.

I don't know if it says on Trinity's website or if I read it on here somewhere, but it says getting the Dales ported and polished has to be done differently or it will actually make you lose power. Do any of you with a lot of engine smarts know anything about that? I'm not the
"brightest crayon in the box" when it comes to motors.

I'm VERY interested in what Trinity can do with the Dale's. They seem very excited about it and say there is a lot of available HP there... maybe they'll be releasing the +60 HP Dale that 14min. is so interested in.

ALL,

My quad is apart and at Trinity Right NOW. Harry is talking about putting in a 450 Sleeve new piston and doing some Head work. He also mentioned moving the injectors closer to the valves and a couple of other tricks.

We haven't closed on the whole deal so I'm waiting. But while I wait I polish other pieces. Thermo Housing, water pump housing, and frame rails.

Just thought you might want to know.

Smitty

FYI
My 2nd email with trinity:

"On our dyno the Moto makes around 45 to 46 hp at peak power, our Stage IV
Moto may not make any more then that. Our goal when we started building our
bikes where to make them handle and perform better, not necessarily make
more hp. Now that I said that I believe that our motors with the porting and
new mapping will make around 53 to 55 hp, that is the goal. The standard
stage IV moto will not be ported like the one I just mentioned, but it will
have the new pipe and special mapping witch will give it probably around
48hp."

I agree with jcv400ex about the Big Gun exhaust. Back around November of last year when the Blaze and Moto were in testing stages we had a Cannondale rep to tell us that the head pipes on all of the cannibals and speeds at that time were made by Big Gun. Now I am talking about the quads with the round silencers. I don't know about the square silencer head pipes. According to this rep Big Gun was actually supposed to manufacture the entire exhaust systems for the entire line up, but there was some kind of misundstanding and Big Gun backed out. Although Cannondale had already purchased a LOT of headpipes so they went ahead and used them.

Yo, I haven't had any discoloring on my Big Gun, but even in the instuctions it states to use some kind of polish on it from time to time. By the way the Big Gun silencer is very loud and I do not know of any quiet core for it.

the quiet core and screen will run you $70 on the Big Gun. I got mine with my quad for $200. I think they're regularly $250. Give Terry down at Marcums a call, he does have them in stock.

Told ya Trinity didn't have anything released yet.....;-)

hey jcv dont you read what other people says

"My quad is apart and at Trinity Right NOW. Harry is talking about putting in a 450 Sleeve new piston and doing some Head work. He also mentioned moving the injectors closer to the valves and a couple of other tricks."(smitty911)

Didnt even know he was already doing porting...but eh trinity as a great customer service so they won't make people wait.....im sure if call em and tell them you want their pipe in 5days or you'll buy elsewhere they'll do it!!!!I love those kind of companies....service is all..not everyone gets it though...

I pretty much do all my riding on the track and I want a pipe that will get all the spectators attention

I dont think you need to worry about a pipe to impress the people. The looks of the C-Dale, companied with your arial acrobatic stunts like this weekend tend to catch more eyes that you know.

LOL, I call that one the "What I feel about dirtbikes" trick... two wheel it off the side of a jump (preferably table tops or something similar) and cart wheel it down the side of the track... a.k.a. "the cheerleader" trick.

Does anyone know of any dyno's of the Big Gun that I can take a look at.

<< on the square pipes did you notice the increase hp or you didn't notice
and how come someone get a hmf pipe and remaps the cannabal with a speed map it is the same map
>>

Because the speed map gave the 11,600 rev limiter opposedto the 10,600 on the Cannibal map plus my dealer gave it to me for free.
