Hi all, I am new here to posting (been following the cannondale site for a few months now) but I am finally stepping up to the plate and going to purchase a Blaze - I have to the Tranny in my craptor just blew!!! But back to more cheerful things - DO you guys think that $10,100 out the door for a 02' Blaze that has all the upgrades and new gas tank is worth it - by the way the owner has rode the Blaze a few times but it lookes brand new still, no scratches on the plastic. He told me 9400$ for it plus tax and $150 setup fee. Is this a good deal? I have another dealer by me that has a Blaze and wants around the same for it new but the rode one looks in better shape and cleaner (imagine that) The new ones motor looks corroded slightly from sitting so long. Let me know what you guys think

Thanks,
Drew

buy one from R&S performance, or get the used one, but make him pony up for some sort of waranty.

All Cannondales come with a 6 month warranty. I have a Moto, and it came with a 6 month warranty.

I called Cannondale direct today and asked them if the Moto 440 comes with a warranty and the lady that answered the phone said "no". I wasn't aware of this when I ordered. In fact my dealer said it's either a year or a six month warranty? He doesn't even know how to get me the twist throttle that I asked hom for. I'm gonna order it from R&S like someone on this board suggested. But I'm starting to think that the Moto and the Blaze do not come with a warranty.

Hey nobody,

Which dealers are you talking to? I'm curious as to whether or not any of the dealers in the Pittsburgh area actually have a clue about Cannondales now. They sure didn't back in December when I was looking to buy my Speed, that's why I decided to drive 1-1/2 hours to get mine. I know, I know, 1-1/2 hours is not bad. Some of you poor b@stards have to drive 3 or 4 hours to get to your dealers!

I won't say the name but they are located in Margate Fla. I found them on the Cannondale site dealer locater. I don't care about the dealer though. They just sell the thing and it would be hard to buy it if there wasn't a dealer. I guess what I'm saying is that I'm used to dealing with people that really don't know much about the product they're selling and knowing this I generally make it a point to do my own homework.

My Dealer was eager to sell his 'new' blaze for 9,400 OTD a month ago, and still has it. I was tempted sorely. I have hopes that he will be even more motivated later. You seem to like the 'demo' blaze better, and I bet you would have fewer "Break-in Bugs", as they should have presented already if they were gonna happen.
So, yea, I think the quad is worth the $

I know for a fact that my Moto is covered by a six month warranty because I have had the quad in for warranty work.
