Cleaning my filters yesterday I noticed some oil on the outside of the airbox, at the joint. As much as i didn't want to, I removed the small allen screws holding the box together and found them barely finger tight. The 'single use' gasket was broken in a couple of spots, so i removed/cleaned it all and resealed with black RTV. Check those airbox screws fellas!

Thanks for the tip,I needed to move my steering stem up to install a new stopper plate and didn't even think about checking those screws.I'm not overly concerned about a loose whatever here and there,I remember when the 400ex was new,I lost or had to tighten a number of things till I learned to blue loctite em.Again thanks for the tip!
