I just got some 18x9.5x8 Turf Tamers mounted on Douglas .190's (the wheels seem MUCH stronger than the .190 ITP wheels) and when I bolted them up to my quad, I noticed that it made the Dale's rear end NARROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It looks even worse since the front end is 49 inches wide! I'm seriously almost embarrassed by the looks, but hopefully I'll have the money to order a +4 axle by the end of this month.

Well, I just thought I would let yall know. If yall see me at any of the tracks, please don't laugh .

Did you end up buying some aftermarket a-arms? How did you get your front end to 49" if you still have the stockers? I have my preload adjusted to the point where my a-arms are perfectly horizontal and my outside tire measurement is 44". Are you running wheel spacers up front or something?

I got some stock Honda front wheels, redrilled them, and flipped them around. I know, I know... it puts more pressure on the a-arms and could cause them to get bent but hell, what would be the difference between just straight up buying after market arms, or bending my stockers and then buying aftermarkets? It would just end up costing me the same amount either way so I figured I would try this out since it is cheaper.

Yeah, mxracer98, you did, but as long as I can make enough hours at work, I'll have an axle on order in a couple of weeks so it won't be to bad. So far, from what little riding I did, I like the gearing, but tomorrow I'm gonna test it out on the track and find out how I really like it. It sure would be nice to find a +4 axle for about $150 . I REALLY need to order the axle before Aug. 17th. Thats when the Fullmoon series starts and then I'll be racing almost every weekend so if I don't have an axle by then, I'll probably end up spending all of the money I had saved up. I'm cheap but at the same time, I always seem to spend a lot of money .

yeah, those are 400ex/250r offset wheels. They're about 2 inches narrower than the Cannondales....take em back and get the right ones!

As jcv said, you can order several different offsets. Check on returning them for the offset you'd rather have. The same is true for the fronts- several different offsets available. Rocky Mountain carries a good variety of offsets, but I guess your stuck with whoever you bought them from.
